I have been lucky enough to not have an ant problem in my house I do know what you mean but there are small baits that you can pick up in the grocery store but dont let the gliders get to them when they are out playing. Also, it would help to keep the gliders cage off the floor. I usually feed my girls right before bed and then remove any leftovers in the morning except for briskys and dried fruit. Hope you enjoy your visit! Shianne Pumpkin & Gizmo : I know the ants you are talking about. we had them in an apartment me rented.Although I don't have that problem now in our house, we bought ant traps by combat (I believe the ants are "ferrel ants". I put the traps near my bird cage and near my cat bowls (the poison is inside, my animals did not bother this) within a day or two the ants were gone and lasted about 4 months. I hope this helps.
: : : I have a question for any Glider owners who live in Florida. I must take my gliders with me to Florida. The last couple of times I visited there I noticed little red ants. These ants would swarm anything sweet within minutes. I am worried that they may go after the gliders for there food. I do not want to spray anything in that it might hurt the gliders. Do any of you Florida owners know what Im talking about? And what to do, this is the first time I am going to bring them and I am worried.
