I am getting a little annoyed at some of the people who are selling gliders. I no longer have or sell babies but when I was finding adopted homes I took it seriously. Gliders should be sold only when they are ready- this is NOT determined by a calendar. You should have a young glider that had a nice fluffy tail but more importantly the glider should be coming out to play on their own and feeling confident about being spotted while doing so even starting to beg for treats. As for eating if they cant be seen out eating from their parent's food bowl eating happily solid food and drinking from the water bottle they are not ready. Your glider should be an adolescent not a baby. If more people were serious about setting their gliders out on the right foot less people would be reporting their glider is having problems.
But if you do you can provide glideraide and fruit juice. Also fruit and meat baby foods- however this should be a treat not a necessity!
