: Sorry for butting in on the conversation!! I just wanted to say that I got my baby glider from breeders in Pleasant Hill, who, when I asked, said they had a good vet there... However, they gave me the glider FAR too young, and seem to think that it was at the right age. They CLAIM to take their gliders in to the vet often, and always right before they sell them.. I just wanted to say that you REALLY need to make sure you have a GOOD vet-- because if these people were telling the truth (I doubt they were, but it's best to take all the precautionary measures that you can) the vet didn't know the right age for a glider to be adopted out either. So make sure you ask any new vet lots of questions to make sure they are knowledgeable about gliders before you put your baby in their hands!!

Heather-- Please e-mail me about where you bought your gliders. I too, bought mine from a breeder in Pleasant Hill, and I would like to make sure that they are not the same. If so, I know the breeders well (after the purchase of my gliders) and would like to talk to them about it. I believe that my female glider was to young when I got her also.
