Okay, it sounds like you are on the right track to being a great glider parent. Just keep checking this board often and Keep asking questions when you think of them. It sounds like you have started to recieve some pretty good info. They are right, a breeder would probably be the best place to get a Glider because they will have known your baby from day one and be able to provide you with a lot more info about it's diet and habits than a petstore would. As far as the books go, I have all the ones I have been able to find ( only 3) and they are a good source of basic information, but they don't tell you what to do when your glider gets in the habit of barking every night at exactly 3:35 wanting you to play and you have to get up at 6:00 for work or school as the case may be. That is why I visit these boards almost daily, I can learn from other people and sometimes I can offer some input.
As far as wasting veggies and all, maybe it is a little excessive. But, Bourbon just want's a potential owner who is unsure to see what it's all about.
Anyway, as far as breeding goes, I myself think that should be left to someone who has no other obligations than to stay home all day (and night) and love on their babies. I know there are not many breeders who do this, it's just my opinion. I do not breed so I can't offer to much help in that department, so whatever you decide to do, I hope it works out for you. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask them, someone here will almost always have the answer.
