I'll get it, just in case it has some good info I could use later on..." Well, I flipped through it a little, and it had ALLLL this great stuff about gliders....but it didn't mention the downsides!! I also saw a pet magazine that had a feature about "new breeds" of pets... one of which was the sugar glider. The info was in a box about 4 inches square with a picture. It had nothing about their special dietary needs, their social needs, problems someone might have with a glider as a pet, etc... neither of the publications did! Oh, and to top that off, the one with the very small bit of info on them had the price listed as "$75-85" !!! HA!! Add a "1" in front of those numbers and they'd be closer! ;) Anyway, it all made me kinda mad, because it's thing like this that cause so many gliders to be mistreated and abandoned. They make them look like a great, sweet little pet that's easy to care for. People get their information from sources that don't even have the REAL information they need to know before getting a glider!! What's wrong with these magazines?? They're practically encouraging glider mistreatment. I'm DEFINITELY going back tomorrow to get those magazines' addresses and write letters to the editors!!
