Thanks for the support. I thought it was obvious that I wasn't "whining". I wanted other people to know that it's dangerous for the glider to be sold too young. If a baby still needs its mother, that's all there is to it. We may be able to give them what they need, but we are not a substitute for nature. I think problems like these (gliders being sold too young) need to be known. I wanted to make sure that no one had to go what I had to go through with the loss of my baby glider.

Thanks again, Jane and Tim, for the support. Those of us who take a stand are the ones who really show our love for gliders--- if we didn't love them so much, we wouldn't spend so much time trying to protect them!

Yes breeders have the right to sell babies whenever they want to but it is also true that the problems that occur when that happens should also be made VERY clear so that people can decide whether to buy a glider that young. One thing for certain Tim would never buy a glider that young after lurking so long. Many people that buy glider are naive. I know I was but I learnt, I adapted. but at that stage you are vulnerable to the experienced person.
