I lost my little girl yesterday. She was running around playing with me Saturday night. I am not sure exactly what happened but I heard a thud and turned around and she was laying on the floor. I ran over and scooped her up, at first I thought she might have broken something she was barely moving around. Since it was the middle of the night both my vets were not in and I called the local animal hospital who had never dealt with gliders before and told me to bring her in the morning. I decided that if I had to wait I would just use my own vet in the morning. I sat up with her all night she was heartbreakingly lethargic. By early morning she was gone.
Gizmo keeps searching for her now, I do not seem to be an acceptable substitute so for her sake I will try and find her a new friend as soon as possible please advise if you hear of any glider needing a home in Orlando. Thanks.
