I don't know if Eos will want to be around your cat more if she nests in its hair, but as for eating it: have you ever seen her try to eat it? If not, its doubtful that she'll run to her box and think "Good, Tiffany's out of sight... FEAST!!!!" Perhaps giving Eos another type of bedding might alleviate the problem. The website below has a few different kinds, from cotton to moss. Good luck!

It's pretty cheap, too.
