I live in a small town and our variety of baby food isn't the greatest but I have been using Gerber juice, apple or mixed and putting in the Gerber yogurt(usually some fruit flavor)along with it. The consistency turns out o.k. I would think it's probably about the same thing. Hope that helps.

: Okay, I got a hold of Gerber. They do not sell Gerber mixed fruit juice with yogurt in Canada anymore. She didn't know if they were going to stop selling it in the US or not.

: So....currently I am using Heinz mixed fruit juice and I just add my own yogurt to the Leadbeater's mix - would that be sufficient? I have had offers of people willing to ship me some up to Canada, but I would need approx. 12 jars to last me a year (appox.) and the shipping might be difficult.
