Subject: WARNING!!! Strawberries
Posted by sadie on July 23, 1999 at 14:06:49:

I know that my gliders really like strawberries, and I think it is safe to assume that most gliders find them scrumpious. It is SO important though to either wash them, soak them, wash them again, and rinse heavily before you serve them you your babies. Strawberries are very porous therefore absorb all of them chemicals sprayed on them. I, personally, won't give my gliders strawberries that are not organic, or home grown. Its for the good of the little guys. Strawberries could be very very toxic, I don't want to see or hear about any little furry friends getting sick by eating yummy, contaminated food.

Good luck!
Sadie
