: What I mean was that I was clarifying why I meant being in the different rooms might be better. Do you think that putting a glider that normally only has a human around in a situation where there are other gliders in another cage next to it is ok? Do you think that they can get attached just by being near each other? If you have seven gliders I'm sure you know the answer... like I said before I was only speculating. So what do you think?

Kim, personally, I think that they LOVE to have other gliders nearby. When I had a lone male he would sit for 15 -20 minutes and watch the glider family next to him. Very sweet glider. His brother would go off the walls if he saw (smelled?) another male glider screaming and body slamming.
Yet, I have tried to put myself in their place. If I were held captive by giant gliders . . . It would make me feel safer to see and hear another human nearby.
I do think each glider is different but that it will do no harm to put the gliders cages in the same room. Maybe after vacation thses two can socialize the two gliders regularly so they become buddies.
