: I recently got two male Gliders. Bonding has been slow. I try to feed them food they like by hand each evening, and have snuck a few pats when they are on my hand. Just when I think they are comfortable, I try to pat them again, and they crab at me and try to attack me. How else should I be doing this? I also wondered how to approach taking them out. Should I just lunge at one of them, and make him come out with me, or should I wait until they are coming to me on their own? Any suggestions would be great!

I just got two new male gliders myself. I find that they do crab a lot, but I take them out. I found with my other male glider if I waited for him to come to me we would never be bonded, so I gently made him come out of his pouch and then I let him go right into my pocket so he did'nt get to mad. It worked, he is very gentle with me, and just loves my attention. Just don't pull away when they crab, I found when I pulled away the next time he would crab even more. So this is what I will also do with my new guys. I hpoe this answered your question in some way or another. :)
