Good job! If you got close once, you will get even closer next time! I cannot tell you how very much my baby glider loves vanilla puddin'. Put it on your finger tip and offer it. When the glider bites, it will quickly begin to lick. Do this everytime you put you finger near him.
Folks will tell you not to respond to biting - I think that can be a bit much to ask a person. A glider that draws blood hurts more than getting a tetnus (sp?) shot. Try to ignore the bad and repeat the stuff that works. Older gliders may not form as tight a bond as quickly as younger ones do - but they will bond. And just think - this glider will be with you for 12-15 years. How can it not love you???
Best of luck!
