7 week old Yoshi has had very little life experiences and is exploring and learning at this point.
Surely you must have offered Yoshi a treat a time or two? Yoshi has probably learned to expect a treat from your fingers. When Yoshi encounters a finger, he'd like to find a treat there.
Expect to get your finger nipped if you have handled any foods. Yes they do chew on things. Some don't, but young ones like Yoshi might try out everything.
You may be surprised at what he'll try, so be cautious and supervise him when he's out of his cage.
Have fun!

: Hi, I am curious to know if gliders go through some sort of teething period like puppies? My glider Yoshi is about seven weeks old and he has just started to nip at people's hands or arms or anything he can get his teeth on. I would appreciate any help with this.. please email me if you know...thanks!
