Hi, I just got two new gliders myself, and I have found that if I wear a pocketed shirt and than put it in the cage for the glider to sleep in he tends not to be as crabby. Also if the glider sleeps in a button up shirt pocket all's you have to do is put the shirt on, then the glider will not be as irritable when you want to carry him around.
Another thing I did with my tame glider is put my hand in the pocket quickly, and let him sleep on it. Soon after I did this he started licking my fingers and did'nt mind so much.
