Laura, Go to a vet!!! I'm not a breeder, and Pat may be exactly right, but I have had dogs and cats that have had a variety of things. It may be something that only an antibiotic could clear up or it could just be an abcess that you can take care of. But, if it gets really infected, it can travel through the blood and spread infection, like if a person gets bit, and it gets infected and you can see a line up the vein? Know what I mean? I really pray that it's nothing, I know how hard it is to have a sick pet. Take care. : ok, let me set this straight. i am not sure it's skin cancer, but that was my breeder's best guess. : There is this thumbtack sized wart looking bump on his back. i didn't notice it when i picked him out. : it got bigger the first week and then started oozing green stuff. it's because he had started to scratch it. : in fact, there is no hair in the area because my SG has scratched it all off there. then it shrank and was very : tiny, but now it's getting bigger again. i wonder what it looks like when an SG is bitten by another SG? : does it look like what i've described? i haven't taken him to the vet, assuming our time is short. : he is 8 weeks old, and i 've had him since 6 weeks old. he is the sweetest little boy. and he even sleeps : with me at night and still cries when he is away from me. he won't eat unless i'm holding him. : the breeder said if it got to be an inch tall, that is when they put Sg's to sleep. : any advice out there? i know this is strange... : thanks.
