Hi, try not to get rid of them just yet. How close are the cages? And does your daughter let them play together? My point is if the male can not see or smell the female at all he should stop smelling so bad. I have three males and none of them smell at all. You can get him neutered, but like dogs it will probably only affect the sexual drive by about 10%. Hope this helped some.
