E-mail or write your state's fish and wildlife department to find out for sure. A few months ago, when I was applying for grad school all over the country and thinking of getting a SG as a pet, I wrote to the departments in several states. I was amazed at how many wrote back and asked ME what the heck a sugar glider is! I think if you search yahoo under fish and wildlife, it will come up with websites for almost every state. All of them wrote me back that I contacted. Good luck! Tiffany : I just found out about sugargliders the other day. An old friend of mine, who I had not seen in a long time, has one as a pet. My question is, is it really true that Sugargliders are illegal in Massachusetts? I saw a couple of Sugarglider websites say that. I looked but I could not find any Massachusetts Law information that verifys it. It wouldn't surprise me, though, since Massachusetts has some AMAZINGLY ignorant laws. I would like to know, because I am definately interested in a sugarglider of my own. I just hope politicians haven't screwed things up for me. :( I don't want to breed them, just have a single or same-sex pair possibly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :) : : R
