Boy, it sounds like you have a full house! There are some really great things about SG's as pets, and some really difficult things. A lot depends on the personality and age of the glider you get. At first (and you never know how long it will take to bond) SG's can be really frustrating because they aren't bonded and can run away, chew holes in your pocket, crab at you, bite you, etc. You have to spend TONS of time with them to bond, and for all of thier lives after that (up to 15 years) if you want to keep them bonded and happy and lively. Once you are bonded, if you do spend lots of time with them, they are very cuddly and sweet. They like to play at night, though, so be sure you are ready to be woken at 3 am by little jingly bells in the cage and barking because your baby is lonely. Sometimes Eos wakes up around 8pm, so we get lots of time to play. Other times she won't wake up until 1am. My glider is more or less potty trained, but yes, she still poops and pees on me sometimes. Also, you have to cut thier nails every so often or you get lots of scratches. I love my glider - she is the most wonderful and amazing little creature I have ever seen and I would never, ever part with her...if you can tolerate all this I highly recommend them as pets. But they are a HUGE commitment. Hope this helps and you aren't too discouraged. Just my 2 cents.
