Subject: Bare knee
Posted by Kim on June 17, 1998 at 23:07:11:

Tonight I noticed that Foster's left hind knee and a little tiny bit of the patagium attached is bare. I didn't notice his hair thinning exactly, but have particularly noticed the pinkness of his skin lately. About a week ago I moved him into a new wooden/wire cage, and he has a big dried apple branch in there to run around on. He also has a wodent wheel and a string "vine" to swing on. There are temporarily pine shavings in the bottom until I can get him aspen shavings next week. Any suggestions? Why is his knee bare? I haven't changed his diet at all, and it is very balanced. Fresh fruit, Brisky's (as a supplement), Vionate, and occasionally crickets, chicken, and/or a little egg. Just enough for his protein.
So why is his knee bare? And how can I help it grow back?

Thanks a bunch-
Kim
