This topic came up a few months ago, and it may be best to scroll down on the message board. There is a girl who has a page (I believe it is Clara) with many suggestions on this. The only one I've used is this: Put a little bit of cider vinegar in a jar, and then put a piece of plastic wrap over the top. Punch tiny holes in the plastic, and the flies will be in, but won't be able to find their way back out.
