I just take mine outside and use the water hose. It's not real easy to carry, (it's 5 x 2.5 x 5 feet) but it really is the easiest way. I also do the same for my ferret cages. It is quicker and the sun seems to take some of the smell out drying in the sun. Good luck! Oh, and I only use water and a veggie scrub brush, the kind on a handle.
