: I have a male sugar glider, and the under side of him has turned yellow, he has a odor that is discouraging when I want to take him out. Is there any way that I can wash him or clean him? And is there any way I can keep him from smelling up his cage w/ his urine?

: Please Reply!

High, I know that this may be telling you what you already know but.... How often do you clean his cage? What kind of sleeping bag or box do you have? I clean my boy's cage atleast once a week and wipe it down with a clean sponge rinced frequently between wipes. I change his sleeping bag ( polar fleece) every other day. There is still some oder but only a bit. I also clean around his cage and vacuum twice a week. Hope this helps. If you are already doing these things then I'm sorry to have wasted your time and I hope that you resolve your problem with smell. Glider love and nibbles, Diana
