Try cleaning the cage more, take old fruit out when you get up in the morning. You can bathe your glider carefully, use a very mild shampoo and be careful not to get his head wet. There are more posts about bathing your glider down below from a few months back. Both of my gliders have tured somewhat yellow. I think it is pretty normal and depends on the animal. My baby is very yellow, and my 2 year old is just kind of tinged with it. I think their fur stains easily and I doubt you can get the color out, although I've never really tried (mine DO NOT like being bathed!). Gliders in the wild are so stained they are brown.
