I have had one (a male) since march and i just got another one (female). He bites sometimes but it doesn't really hurt--just kind of nips at you (especially if he smells food). She doesn't bite at all. It all depends on how much they have been handle since they were babies. I got him when he was 5 or 6 months but he wasn't handled a lot until I got him. I just got her and she's 5 months now, but she was handle since she came out of the pouch. I love them though. They're such fun pets and they can be loving!
