Cat, Please research.. also when you do this, if you are responsible, you will look at this honestly. I have a 15 year old daughter, We just now have 2 joeys in the pouch with 2 adult gliders. We ask our daughter if she wanted to try to bond with one of the joeys when they are ready. Her response was in my opinion, very practical and responsible. She right out said no. Not because she didn't love them because she does. She thinks they are great as long as they are MY responsibility, but here are her reasons: 1. They are too much responsibility for Me. 2. I can't stay up late enough to play with them when it is their time to play. 3. When I get a job I won't be able to be with them, school during the day and work at night. 4. When I get my drivers license, I will want to be out with my friends. 5. I am too young to take care of a baby, I want to have fun, do things and go places. 6. What would I do with it when I go skating, swimming, horseback riding, go to the movies, and to the mall? She decided that she will stay with rats. They play when she wants to play. Be responsible think about her reasons.. then think if it would be fair for a glider..
