Mine also slept alot when they were new and little. I have had to condition my two to get up early because I can not stay up until midnight or later. I start to get mine up around 8pm. And they now get up at that time naturally because they know it is playtime. My 3 month old female was really hard to get up when we first got her. She too would just curl up in our hands or find a dark area. I really tried stimulating her and if all she wanted to do was sleep..then either my husband or I would hold her. About 2 weeks ago, she has gone out of that "sleepy phase". Come 8pm, she is waiting on me to come and get her.
