I do not believe he was handled too much and he seems to be "schreeching and yelling " at us. Today I put him in my pocket and he bit me and screeched at me. I have fallen in love with this little animal and he is now in a happy family but we need tips and help on how we can slowly get him to trust us. HELP PLEASE . I know he has endured quite a lot including a gaping wound on his neck . We found a good vet who has helped explain what to do about it and is treating it . But now we need advise on how to help him fall in love with us. and should I force him to be in my pocket if he is protesting??? Also he only ate parrot food when we resuced him nothing else . I am having problems interducing him to a "REAL" diet . any advice on how I can get him to taste new foods???? Thanks for whatever help you can give me .... Nancy........ : I agree with the previos post. Also check out the I.S.G.A ( international sugar glider association). I can't tell you how much I've learned from the different links available. You do need to give him time though and decide who he'll bond with, don't confuse him at first. Let him get to know one of you first. Carrying him in your [ppocket during his sleep time is great. Also, his diet is REALLY important and the ISGA can give you the best info. on that and cages and also very important, health concerns. If you have any other questions don't hestitate to post them on this or any other exotic or glider board. You can even e-mail me directly. I hope that you and your boy live long and well together! Glider love and nibbles, Diana
