I received a glider yesterday from my rabbit breeder. He had been given to a New York animal rescue group. I have no idea how old he is, but I do know that he's been bounced between care centers for a few months now and isn't very happy. He crabs when I try to pet him and is very timid. I do not approach him or try to hold him because I've only had him for one day! He has not been eating much and stays inside his sleeping bag. Any bonding advice you can give to a new owner who is rather intimidated by the tiny guy would be greatly appreciated!!! THANK YOU!
