9 months ago I wrote on this forum, I think it was about 9 months anyways. I wanted a glider more than anything once I met my friends glider. But my parents were convinced that I had all the pets I need. I had turtles, an alaskan malamute (who I trained myself) and hedgehogs, and my cat who thinks hes a dog. Anyways, yeh so my 'rents said no, I even took them out to sup and we talked about it for about 3 hours and they asked me if I knew enough about gliders, and then they asked me all these questions which I had no answers to. They told me that once I knew tons about them then I MIGHT be able to get one. I was 16 then. So I read for 8 months about gliders and talked to tons of people and got books and stuff. On my birthday they finally said yes. That was only 3 weeks ago and Im waiting for my baby till July. My POINT:
Its worth the wait, impressyour parents by learning everything (GOOD and BAD). Once you know more you wont doubt getting one (if you still want one after you know all the bad stuff). Trust me it was worth the wait. Almost a year and I still have to wait more. If you can't WAIT for one then you shouldnt get one because it means you basically want one off impulse. Anyhow, sorry this was so long,
just happens to be a subject (parents) that I'm very well educated in.
