i have always wanted my sugarglider to have babies. so i talked to some friends of mine and one of them had a male sugar glider. so we borrowed that sugarglider and put it in my sugarglider's cage.after a month we realized she was pregnant so we gave the male back. 2 1/2 months later the babies came out of the pouch. but later we found one MAJOR problem! she wouldn't take care of them! they died later that day.
some people say that she wouldn't take care of them because we took her mate away. i don't see why she wouldn't take care of them because of that.
other people say it was because she didn't know how, but don't they have instinct?
i need some help! what do you think?
