Subject: oop baby Posted by Tara on September 04, 1999 at 21:36:01:
My friend has a pair of sugargliders and they just had their first joey (Quiggley). Quiggley is oop but stays in the sleeping pouch and doesn't come out to eat. Her question (she is not on the net, so I'm sending this in for her) is - Shouldn't it be coming out to eat? Evidently it is still nursing, but only when the mother is in the sleeping pouch. Also, she has started taking it out and holding it for brief periods of time. She says it is OK, but I didn't think you were supposed to do this until they started coming out to eat solid food.
