I own a glider in Ca. and there is a vet around the corner
from me that luckily knows what a suger glider is AND will
look at them when they are sick. I live in the San Jose
area, but,you did not specify where you lived. I got my
glider through a friend who got one in Georgia and carried
her with him in his pocket on the air plane.
You do not need a licence to own a sugar glider in another
state, but you do need a licence to breed them. (I learned
that little bit of info. from reading every site on the net
on SG's) Don't worry about asking around different vets in
your area, they won't "turn you in" I don't think that it
is hard to have one illegally, the only problem is probably
getting it into the state.
