How would you feel if you were trapped in some tiny stuffy area for 10 or so hours with little air and no escape. Do you think that you would remember that smell fondly and want to be near it? Not to menion the dangers that socks can have!
I certainly do not make a habit out of slamming people but this can be very dangerous for a glider. Dan, I am not sure where you obtained that information and I pray that you have not practiced it yourself.
