Subject: Gliders and the Sumac Tree? Safe???? Posted by Scott Runnels on September 07, 1999 at 17:54:11: I have a limb that would go nicely in Dizzy's cage (Picked her up today!) and I was wondering if ANYONE knows if the Sumac Tree is poisonous to Gliders? What are the best Tree limbs to put in there? Should I treat it with anything? Also what about bedding. Right now I have nothing under cage for bedding except a pan that surrounds the bottom (which is lifted off the ground, but the sides touch the ground hence giving an inch of space between ground of cage and ground of house!) A pet store owner, said I didn't need it. The person who sold me the glider, said she used Corn Cob as bedding. What do you think is best? Thanks in advance. Scott
