I still think she needs something that smells like you in her cage, so she will be use to your smell.I think once she gets use to the smell, it may make your bonding easier.

: Well, she's about 4 months oop. Her last owner didn't spend too much bonding time with her, but kept her in the same cage as a male, but they weren't mates.

: : : I don't take offense at all, really. You are right, and unfortunately, I DO want her to bond quickly. Her previous owner didn't do too much to bond to her, because she knew she was selling her. Right now she's calmed down a considerable bit. She's alseep in the pouch under my shirt and I continually pet her both through the fabric and directly. Also I continually give her a little peach juice on the tip of my finger. Patience is a virtue.
