I think it was Jane2 who asked if when she is sick she is contagious to her gliders when she's sick... two people have told her that she is not. I have always heard just the opposite, but wasn't sure enough to comment. I always stay away from mine when I am sick... I even put gloves on when I make their food. Am I over reacting? I guess I've just been careful... better safe than sorry huh? and my response will be.. I too am overly cautious when we are sick, especially around the gliders, we wash our hands using a anti-bacterial soap, when we feed them or our hands are anywhere near the cage. The reasons for being ovwerly cautious, are not neurotic ones, they are because I know the damgers, just as you do, if our gliders get ill. They have no tolerance for illness, and they hide it so well, by the time we knew that they were sick, it may be too late. Go with the saying that we live by, and I know you do too. If in doubt.. Don't
