I think it sounds like you are making woderful progress. I have had Puddin for a little over a year now and she is only now coming to me of her own free will. I got her from a teenage boy. I heard from a friend of his that they would get drunk and put her on ceiling fans and throw her around. Needless to say she was very afraid of people. It just takes a lot of time and patience to win them over. I also had to get her a friend since she didn't like me yet but she was lonely...she actually started to pull her hair out from over grooming. I think having Brett around, he was a very socialized one year old male, helped her get used to me. Since she saw him playing with me she may have realized that I was ok. Anyhow, this is getting a bit long. Good luck and don't give up.
