When my glider barks, I say glider because only my Belle seems to be the barker, she does it for attention. Sometimes to alert me to the fact that it's playtime!
Other times it seems she is telling Baron a story, and he will not move at all until she's done... even when he's eating. When she first starts barking, it does sound kinda cute but after awhile it starts to be a little like fingernails on a chalkboard. Thats when hubby has to go have a little talk with his princess and ask her nicely to finish up the story so we can get some sleep! :)
