Sounds like you have a great start on the cage. My glider also loves the little swing perches for birds.

By the way, about the teen issue... you are absolutely right. We shouldn't all treat teens like kids. I don't think any of us intentionally does that. Please excuse us, however. A few months ago a teen wrote in asking if she should go against her dad and get another glider. We all gave her useful suggestions and offered her our opinions, which she got angry about. Finally another teen wrote in and said "Yeah, go against your dad" and she retorted with one of many messages with a subject that stated, "At least SOMEONE has a brain here!" So with that said, we certainly know all teens aren't alike, but hesitate at times to even get into a discussion lest we start a baby-talk battle. Thank you for being mature enough to speak to the rest of us like an adult. That puts you ten steps ahead already.
