Hi, I would like to share what I found today about Sugar Glider. It's interesting to know that Sugar Glider's native name in the island of Irian Jaya (Indonesia) is Unundawe. I also found out that there are two species of them (http://www.noord.bart.nl/~edcolijn/mammals.aspl) Petauridae - Petaurinae Petaurus biacensis Author.......... : Ulmer, 1940 (P. papuanus biacensis). Synonym......... : P. kohlsi. Common Name..... : Biak glider. Vernacular Name. : Manaf (Biak). Distribution.... : Biak, Supiori and Owi. Remarks......... : Endemic. Petaurus breviceps

Vernacular Name. : Oposum layang biasa; Tikus kelapa; Tupai; Panuk naway, Unundawe (Dani). Distribution.... : Bacan, Halmahera, Ternate, Gebe, Aru and Kai Islands, Adi, Misool, Salawati, Irian Jaya, Yapen and Numfoor. Ecology......... : 0-3000 m.
