: I have two female gliders who got along great in the first four months that they were together but in the past month or two they have been fighting when they are put back in the cage together (they are okay when they are out). The older one chases the younger one and screaches at her, the younger one hisses back. The cage is large, over five feet tall so i don't think it's lack of space. They also still share a nesting box when they sleep. I have been forced to turn on a desk lamp above their cage to get them to stop. When i do that they go back in their nesting box and go to sleep. I usual do this shortly after they start fighting because i fear that one of them might hurt the other. Any ideas on why they are fighting and how i can get them to stop would be appreciated.
