Ron, You did the right thing by FIRST calling your vet, If he said a respitory infection, at least you have that covered. As for causes, I think that is what you are asking.. It could be many things,
check the location of the cage , is it by a window, or a door, I don't know where you live, but this past week, the temps have been pretty irratic. At night, when the gliders are the most active, temps drop. As Nikki said, maybe someone that touched her, petted her was coming down with something, a dust particle , where he plays when he is out, he could have gotten into some dust, Drafts are the most common..that is almost like asking where someone picked up a cold at.. It is nearly impossible for people to answer that..
