: : I was wondering if you have to use any other supplements with Brisky's? Do you have to give them an extra supplement for calcium or anything? I was just curious because I am having serious fruit fly problems and I am thinking about switching.

: Hi,
: Can somebody tell me about these problems? I have two females and I feed them a lot of mixed varieties of fruits and veggies like broccoli, squash, sweet potato, carrot, grapes, bell pepper, pears, apples, cantaloupe, watermelon, etc and then i give them some glider "goo" that has some honey in it but I never have had problems with flies, knats, etc. I know everybody cleans the bowls out everyday but how could you get them? From windows being opened maybe? Just a little curious. :o)

Tina,

I really don't know how they got there. No, I don't keep windows open and I do empty their food every morning. I also wipe off the cage very frequently, so it isn't a cleanliness problem. It seems like they are worse during certain parts of the year, maybe that has something to do with it. I can't imagine how you keep from getting them if you feed fresh fruit. Maybe you should let me in on your secret!

Brandi
