Mine use a bird water bottle. It's like a water bottle but on the bottom it is open just big enough to where their mouths can fit. I like that a lot better because I wasn't sure about the water bottle since it's only a little silver thing but with this, it's like a bowl because they dont got to slurp out of anything but it's like a water bottle because their "droppings" can't go in it.Hope this helps.
