Please also keep in mind that... although after the trust has built you can expect different stages in their lives to be rough, even for the owners. No one can guarantee that the glider you get will be sweet and cuddly, it usually don't happen right away. you first must spebd the time and patience to build a trust and a bond.. Please continue researching if, that is what you expect. further down here on this page as well as on on the "last page" you will see where Ashjan and TJ, who also had very sweet, bonded gliders, also have been working on problems, especially the biting.. both of them after a year,of sweet, have had to start the trust and bonding process all over again.. Gliders are a big commitment, just as having kids, you work through each phase they go through, and sometimes, as with teens, you sometimes just want to give up.. but you know you can't..and if you are serious, you won't want to,, it will be tough, during those phases.. it won't matter if you get them young or older, you will have phases where they won't always be sweet. The begining is always tough, but after the bond to watch them turn on you, can even be tougher. I have to commend, Ashjan and TJ for sticking it out.. many people wouldn't.. My hats go off to them.. Please be sure you are ready for what they are going through..make this a well thought out decision.. KNOW what to expect, the worst as well as the best..
