: Hi I am hoping someone can explain Bretts new behaviour. Him and Puddin used to bark at night about once every other week. Brett is now doing it EVERY night between 2 and 4am. Anyone have any idea what his problem is. He has food, and water and company. He doesn't seem to want to come out because I will open the door and he just sits there. HELP!!!

I have read somewhere that if you leave a light on in another room (so that some ofthe light gets into the room where the sugar is sleepin) they bark less at night. Did you recently change the night-time environment to one of total darkness? Somewhee ir read that they use the barking to locate other gliders when in darkness.
