The vet said that muscle tends to decrease and fat increases after neutering and I knew that this was true of cats and dogs. He said that their diet during the 1st month sets the stage, so you might want to be careful of what you feed them anyway. Good luck!

: Neutering can make them fat? I'm taking my glider to the vet this week to see if he can be neutered. A little weight would do him good, he was neglected before I got him and he's scrawny. Is that true? Do neutered gliders have a tendency to get fat?
