Veterinarians go through a pretty long and informative schooling before they become an actual "Dr." of veterinarian medicine and usually they love animals...so I think it's pretty safe to say that he'll do a good job or will put it in someones hands who he knows will do a good job! our prayers are with Buster and his mate Nips. P.S. we'll see you this weekend Virginia :). look forward to the new home building for the little ones. :) : well i take my male glider, Buster, in tomorrow to get neutered. I'm really nervous about it. They are going to keep him overnight tomorrow night and then do the operation early on thursday. (they are keeping him overnight since i don't have any way of getting him there at the time they need him to be there thursday!). Anyway, I'm really nervous. I went on and seperated the two gliders tonight so they won't be so distraught tomorrow night when Buster is in a strange place!! The vet that is doing the operation is the only vet in the area that sees sugar gliders. He's seen both of my gliders before but he was a little reluctant to say that he's do the neutering. I get the impression that he's never really been asked to do one before...sure hope he knows what he's doing....I'd be heartbroken and lost without Buster around and so would Nips, my female glider!! Anyway, I'll let ya'll know how it went as soon as I hear something on Thursday!
