I know exactly what you are talking about. The first time I trimmed my gliders nails it was awful!! He was so upset which in turn made me upset. I only got a couple nails here and there. I finally had to quit because I was so stressed out and so was he. But we finally got it togeather. I put him in a crown royal bag. I give him a meal worm and I pull out a paw (I make sure the rest of his body is covered with the bag so he can't hurt me) and hold it firmly then I clip away. When I am done with one paw, I put my hand in and stroke him and talk softly then I give him another worm and go to town. It takes me about 3 minutes to do each glider. He crabs a little but the more times we do it, the easier it seems to be. And gosh it feels good (for me) when his nails are trimmed! I know it is stressful. Hope this helps and good luck!
